Deep Tissue Massage Deep tissue is recommended for chronic problems involving muscle tension and stiffness. The muscle groups are separated relieving them of tension. CranioSacral Therapy CrainoSacral Therapy (CST) is a light touch approach that can create dramatic improvements in your life. It releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance. CranioSacral Therapy was developed by Dr. John E. Upleder, an osteopathic physician. CranioSacral Therapy improves your ability to take better care of you. It helps relieve a full spectrum of pain, illness and dysfunction, including migraines, headaches, chronic neck and back pain, stress and tension related disorders, infant and childhood disorders, fibromyalgia, ADD/ADHD, post-traumatic stress disorder along with many more. Hot Stone Massage Hot stone massage combines the benefits of hydrotherapy and thermotherapy, with the strokes of massage using basalt stones (molten lava which cools following a volcanic eruption) creating a deep, relaxing and healing treatment. The heat of the basalt stones warms the skin which allows for the absorption of moisturizing and therapeutic oils, while simultaneously preparing the musculature of the body so the therapist can work into the deeper layers. Benefits of thermotherapy include: increases circulations, increases the release of toxins, decreases muscles spasm, and decreases muscle stiffness. Raindrop Technique The Raindrop Technique is a type of massage that integrates Young Living essential oils with the benefits of Vitaflex and massage. Developed by Gary Young and a Lakota medicine man named Wallace Black Elk, Raindrop is a powerful, noninvasive tool for alleviating physical discomfort and realigning the body, mind, and emotion. Raindrop Technique utilizes thyme, oregano, wintergreen, cypress, peppermint, basil, and marjoram essential oils, along with Valor, Aroma Siez, to bring the body and mind into alignment. A couple’s massage can include best friends, couples, mothers & daughters. Please schedule your couples massage 2-3 weeks in advance. The couples massage is 60 minutes for $120.00 Sports Massage Sports massage is great for the weekend warrior or the athlete. Sports massage is a wonderful way to prepare and recover from sporting events. Overusing muscles can lead to decreases in range of motion and increases in the levels of lactic acid, which can cause muscle soreness and stiffness. Sports massage increases the range of motion, flexibility and strength. Spa Parties Are you looking for a way to make your next baby shower, bridal shower, or other special event unique? Then schedule a spa party. The spa party brings pampering to your home. The services offered range from chair massages, mini table massages, reiki sessions, mini facials, mini reflexology sessions, and manicures.
